WHO IS ORGANISED BY LISA?
My Story
Even as a child, I was the one with the organised bedroom while everyone else’s looked like a jumble sale. I took genuine pleasure in sorting, arranging, and finding the right place for everything. My family still joke that I used to reorganise the kitchen cupboards for fun, and they are not wrong.
As I got older, I became the friend people called when they needed help with a spare room, unpacking after a move, or making sense of the chaos. I loved it every single time. There is something special about watching someone’s shoulders drop as their space starts to feel manageable again.
Discovering the world of professional organising through shows like BBC One’s Sort Your Life Out was a real lightbulb moment. Seeing the team transform homes and the lives inside them made me realise this was more than a hobby. It was a profession, and it was exactly where I belonged.
I went on to complete Dilly Carter’s CPD accredited twelve-week Professional Organising Programme. It gave me the structure, methods, and confidence to turn my passion into a career. I learned how to carry out a Space Audit, how to support clients through the emotional side of letting go, and how to create systems that work for real life.
I have since gained hands-on experience working alongside Dilly and her team, including behind-the-scenes work on BBC’s Sort Your Life Out. Today, I am a qualified professional organiser who is DBS checked, ICO registered, and fully insured with Public Liability cover. This gives you complete confidence when inviting me into your home
My Approach
I understand that inviting someone into your home, especially when it may not be at its best, takes courage. That is why my approach is always gentle, patient, and completely judgment-free. I've seen it all, and nothing shocks me. My only focus is helping you feel better in your space, so you can enjoy your home without stress.
I work alongside you at your pace. We make decisions together regarding your space. I never throw anything away without your say-so, and I never push you faster than you are comfortable with. The goal is not perfection; the goal is creating a home that works for you and your life.
